Volunteers help Children All - Russian charity event

The Volunteers help Children event will take place in Russia from May 5 to June 10, 2012.

The action was organized by the Children Support Foundation which provides help to children in difficult situations. The goal of the action is to support disabled children and their families.

All of the Russian specialized childcare institutions which are annually gifted the books within the framework of the Programme of Illustrated Books for Blind Children Foundation are the participants of this charity event.

Because of Russia’s vast territory, it is difficult to find the cities, towns or villages where children need help. If you have information about such children please send it to us. By joining together we are able to find more addresses on the map of Russia where our help is needed.

One such address is Rodnichyok, the nursery school No.12 of the city Krasnokamensk of Zabaykalskyi krai. Many children who are in the care of Rodnichyok have physical disabilities: 28 are visually impaired, 7 are locomotor handicapped, 8 have heart disease, and 108 have other disabilities.

Volunteers who would like to take part in this act of kindness and support blind and visually impaired children are invited to join us for the Volunteers keep Children event! Together we can work to achieve equality for children with physical abilities!
