Hello, Book! - the special event in childcare center №1021 of the city of Moscow
Childcare center №1021 is one of few pre-school educational institutions where an inclusive education of kids with disabilities is taking place. In the center there are some groups for the blind - about 20 kids that have visual impairments- they have special remedial classes. On May 27, 2013 the kids were given with the gifts that help them study using the intact analyzers: tactual sense, hearing, residual vision (if available). The gifts are many-textured, talking tactile books.
The blind kids from Baby and mama rehabilitation center (144 kids in all) are also being trained at the childcare center#1021 under the supervision of Elena Nasibulova, visual impairment specialist.
The donations intended for providing the tactile books to each of the blind kids were made by ALMAZJUVELIREKSPORT, SAUTBRUK, FINKRASKA.
The kids with who have no visual problems will also enjoy with those books and play jointly with visually impaired children. Isn’t that the inclusive education meaning?
